MACHINE: DKS 1510-1550
SUMMARY : PC assembling & connection conformity
PC hardware instability and crashes
When plugging the PC at the installation, bad connection of the SCSI cable or bad insertion of the electronic boards in the PCI slots.
Verify by opening the PC at installation that all the PCI boards are properly inserted in their respective slots. (See pictures below).
When the board is properly inserted, it may happen that you cannot attach it anymore (the motherboard could be too far from the back of the PC).
In such case, it is possible to bend the back plate (carefully) until it comes in the proper position.

Finally after closing the cover of the PC, carefully plug in the SCSI (without twisting the connector to clip it in).
You must push in straight. If necessary modify the position of the different cable ties preventing a good connection (cable ties sometimes are stressing the connector on the PCB).
NOTE: Follow those instructions for all other handling or operation on the PC later on or you will experience sometimes PC hardware instability and crashes. A bad connection can lead to PCB destruction too…
